Crochet Plus Join Charity Square Afghan

Crochet Plus Join Charity Square Afghan

I needed something quick and simple to make to give as a gift to my sister in law whom I will be meeting for the first time since her brother and myself have been together (8 yrs.). I had these squares put away and thought well why not all I have to do is join them. I used the flat braid join which I love because of its simplicity and the end results are stunning.

I put together two video tutorials on how to crochet the Charity Square which is a free pattern by Donna Mason-Svara and how to join them.

Go check out her blog here and please add the Charity Square Pattern to your Favorites on Ravelry

I hope these are helpful if you find yourself looking to make a quick but beautiful afghan, enjoy!

I finally decided what to make for my kids teacher’s a tiny crochet box.  School will be over in a couple of weeks and I needed something that would work up quickly since I’m making it for eight teachers…yes eight.  So these cute tiny boxes are perfect.  I am going to fill them with candy and hand them out on the last day of school. Hope they love them as much as I do 🙂
