Crochet Triangular Shawl Wrap
Materials Needed:
Yarn: Bernat Cotton-ish
Hook: K 6.0
Tapestry Needle
Craft Scissors
Piece of Cardboard 8″ in Length
Pattern Instructions:
Rnd 1: ch4, sl st to fist ch, ch4, (3dc, ch2, 3dc), ch1, dc in the circle.
Rnd 2: ch4, turn work, 3dc in first ch1 sp, (3dc,ch2,3dc) in ch2 sp, 3dc, ch1, dc in next ch1 sp.
Rnd 3: ch4, turn work, 3dc in the next two ch1 sps, (3dc,ch2,3dc) in ch2 sp, 3dc in next ch1 sp, 3dc, ch1, dc in next ch1 sp.
Rnd 4: ch4, turn work, 3dc in the next three ch1 sps, (3dc,ch2,3dc) in ch2 sp, 3dc in next two ch1 sps, 3dc, ch1, dc in next ch1 sp.
Rnd 5: ch4, turn work, 3dc in the next four ch1 sps, (3dc,ch2,3dc) in ch2 sp, 3dc in next three ch1 sps, ch1, dc in next ch1 sp.
Rnd 6: ch4, turn work, 3dc in the next five ch1 sps, (3dc,ch2,3dc) in ch2 sp, 3dc in next four ch1 sps, ch1, dc in next ch1 sp.
Continue the pattern for the length you desire. For my triangular shawl I did a total of 29 rnds.
Last step is to cut the fringe using the piece of cardboard. Just wrap around the cardboard as much as you can then cut on both ends. Use 5 strands of yarn in every other sp between the 3dc clusters. Don’t forget to weave in your ends!
